Biography
Robin A. Lewis has been practicing law for over 30 years concentrating in the areas of residential and commercial real estate including commercial and residential landlord/tenant litigation involving condo/co-op issues, leasing, DHCR issues and litigation, rent regulation issues, buyouts of rent-regulated tenants and transactional real estate.
Prior to starting her solo law practice, Ms. Lewis was a partner in the law firm of Antonoff & Lewis where she represented predominantly real estate developers, investors, management companies and tenants in Civil, Supreme, Appellate, Federal and Housing Courts. Ms. Lewis also handled administrative proceedings and performed hearings before the Environmental Control Board, NYC Department of Buildings and the NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR).
Ms. Lewis also managed a branch of Antonoff & Lewis in Telluride, Colorado in the early 1990s where she represented local businesses and professionals regarding real estate, corporate and development issues and was a participant in the evolution of a small mountain town into the world class ski destination that it is today.
Ms. Lewis has also acted as the principal advisor to a Florida based hospitality company involved in hotel and resort management and development in Florida and the Caribbean. Ms. Lewis reviewed hotel acquisition and management opportunities and participated in the re-structuring of the company.
Ms. Lewis graduated from Brooklyn Law School and SUNY Albany cum laude and is admitted to practice law in New York and Colorado.
